Open Source and Open Standards

From the first day of its establishment, Artistanbul has favored the free/open source software philosophy and open standards in the projects it develops. For this reason, we take care to use free software components in the software and community projects we carry out and to contribute to the software we benefit from.
For precisely this reason, Artistanbul supports its employees in contributing to "external" free software projects. That is why you can see the names of many former/current Artistanbul employees in countless places, from the Mozilla Firefox browser to LibreOffice, from the Django development environment to barcode reader libraries.
Artistanbul, which is also the developer of the Open edX-based Eduvence platform, is the distance education infrastructure provider for many prestigious universities and institutions around the world, especially in the USA.
Trainings

Developing the Open edX-based Eduvence platform for Bilişim Vadisi's distance education portal, Artistanbul has established and managed Turkey's largest software communities to date. These include communities such as TÜBİTAK/Pardus, Turkcell Geleceği Yazanlar, Arçelik/Beko Dijital Kanatlar, and Turkcell Zeka Gücü.
The Artistanbul team, which enabled the establishment of more than 400 technology laboratories all over Turkey, will be here very soon with their trainings on Python, Arduino, Robotics, and embedded systems.
